Meal Cards During Hospitalization or Hardship

Meal cards for families and individuals experiencing AGS related hospitalizations or hardships

Written by Patrick Winters on November 19th, 2021.

AGS related hospitalizations have an emotional and financial impact on affected families and individuals that the AGSAA can help to alleviate. The goal of this program is to provide material support to those that qualify in the form of food delivery gift cards (e.g. DoorDash, UberEats, PostMates, Instacart) to aid immediate families (e.g. AGS affected individuals, their siblings, parents, etc.) while they experience the logistical challenges of hospitalization and similar events and circumstances.

Program Time Frame

6 months, beginning with the date of the last board member’s signature. The program will be reviewed by the AGSAA Steering Committee to be renewed, terminated, or modified at its terminal date.

Program Budget

The program will have a total 6 month allocation of $600, to be distributed as needed with a limit of $100 each 30 days.

Qualifications
