Meal cards for families and individuals experiencing AGS related hospitalizations or hardships
Written by Patrick Winters on November 19th, 2021.
AGS related hospitalizations have an emotional and financial impact on affected families and individuals that the AGSAA can help to alleviate. The goal of this program is to provide material support to those that qualify in the form of food delivery gift cards (e.g. DoorDash, UberEats, PostMates, Instacart) to aid immediate families (e.g. AGS affected individuals, their siblings, parents, etc.) while they experience the logistical challenges of hospitalization and similar events and circumstances.
6 months, beginning with the date of the last board member’s signature. The program will be reviewed by the AGSAA Steering Committee to be renewed, terminated, or modified at its terminal date.
The program will have a total 6 month allocation of $600, to be distributed as needed with a limit of $100 each 30 days.
To qualify for gift cards, the recipient must meet all criteria:
Individuals and families may request a gift card from support@agsamericas.org. Alternatively, the AGSAA Family Support Committee may identify potential recipients through regular communication with families and/or moderation of social media channels.
All distributions must be reviewed and approved by the Family Support Committee. Gift cards will be delivered by email address or physically via mailing address at the discretion of the recipient.
.
Requests will be reviewed and approved by the AGSAA. Documentation may be requested.
